We offer classes and workshops for both children and adults throughout the year. Stirling Hall is home to Twigs Art Camp in the summer.

We provide opportunities for children kindergarten through 8th grade to learn new skills or improve on a current skill in the arts. Children of all ability levels and interest are encouraged to try and develop an interest or hobby that can last a lifetime!

Our Painting and Drawing Class, as well as our two Mosaic classes, diversify our programing and complement the opportunities in the ceramic studio: Wheel Throwing, Hand Building, Figure Sculpture, and Tile Design. Ceramic students have firing options of gas reduction, soda, raku, and pit firing.

TWIGS ART CAMP

COMPLETED GRADES 1-6

Your camper can take advantage of the state-of-the-art ceramics facility at Stirling Hall on a daily basis at TWIGS. They will also learn all about the performing arts of theatre and dance. Campers will then get to present what they have learned at the TWIGS Showcase held at the end of summer where children get to show off their projects and perform for their guests. That's not all! TWIGS campers will have an opportunity to participate in active games, weekly trips to the beach, and multiple field trips throughout the summer. YOUTH WHEEL CAMP

AGES 10-13

This week long wheel camp is for children who are interested in learning about the potter's wheel and developing the skills required in wheel throwing. Wheel Campers will learn to spin the wheel, making bowls, mugs and plates. No experience is necessary to take part in this one of a kind camp opportunity. Children will need to return to pick up their projects.
