HOUSE LEAGUE BASEBALL
GRADES K-8

Baseball House League, for ages Kindergarten through 8th Grade, is a community-based baseball program for the beginner through the most experienced player. House League is where it all starts and is the foundation for the player who wishes to someday compete at the highest level. This is a great program to enjoy the game while playing in your community with friends. All House League divisions will be centered on learning and developing the fundamentals of the game as well as success, safety, and, above all, FUN!

BASEBALL PARTNERSHIP WITH LAKE FOREST BASEBALL ASSOCIATION

The Lake Forest Recreation Department (LFRD) and Lake Forest Baseball Association (LFBA) partner to develop our young baseball players both on and off the field through an all-encompassing youth baseball system. This baseball system will include both House League Baseball and Travel Baseball options. House Leagues for athletes ages 4 through 14 are implemented and managed by LFRD.

Travel Baseball for athletes ages 8 through 12 will be implemented and managed by LFBA. LFBA provides athletes, ages 8-12, the opportunity to represent themselves and our community through the game of baseball while emphasizing fundamentals, hard work, teamwork, loyalty, discipline and fun. Our ultimate goal is to put our players in competitive situations that not only develop their character but also their skills as baseball players so they may continue their athletic careers into high school and beyond.

LFBA's season typically runs May through July with additional opportunities for Fall Ball and indoor winter workouts.
