Sailing Director and Head Coach

Lake Forest Sailing seeks a full-time Sailing Director & Head Coach who will lead, coach,support, and grow our comprehensive sailing programs. In partnership with the Lakefront Program Manager, a successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • LEAD THE TEAM: Play a leadership role in shaping the future of sailing in Lake Forest. Shape the program to remain a leading community asset and nationally recognized program.
  • RACE FOR YOURSELF: Lead a team that encourages continued education and supports additional learning avenues for staff. Plan for the expansion of our program and assets to best meet the needs of the Lake Forest community.
  • NAVIGATE & EXPLORE: Work in a beautiful setting with others who are passionate about sailing excellence.

Lake Forest Sailing is a US Sailing Certified Community Sailing Center with a strong focus on community learn to sail and youth racing programs that have excelled at the highest levels of national competition with an opportunity and support to expand in all areas of our programming. Our mission at Lake Forest Sailing is to grow the sport within our community while provide everything needed for a sailor to reach their maximum potential.
