WELCOME TO the new and improved deerpath community park!

The park is open from dawn until dusk each day, for general recreational usage. We have begun taking rental requests. For more information on renting the fields, visit our field rental page.

Enjoy the park and playgrounds, take a walk along the path, try the fitness equipment, and stay tuned for programs and events at the park this spring!

Park amenities include:

  • 2 shaded open-air pavilions with restrooms

Step up to the plate at Deerpath Community Park! Join us to celebrate this fantastic amenity with the community! A morning packed with activities for all ages will include an athletic obstacle course, open field play, a guided walk, a scavenger hunt, face painting, balloon artists, speed and agility drills with a personal trainer, and more surprises. Grab the family and stop by to play!

To avoid damage, the following are NOT ALLOWED ON THE TURF FIELDS:

  • Chewing Gum
  • Pets
  • Chairs and Tents
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Metal Cleats
  • Food and Beverages (with the exception of water)

NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK:

  • Motorized vehicles
  • Outside catering
  • Alcoholic beverages, smoking, and vaping (including parking lots and adjacent areas)
  • Movement of any equipment and/or amenities unless authorized by City staff

If a parent is working late, a grandparent lives out of state, or an athlete wants to relive a great play, they can tune in to watch the games played at Deerpath Community Park via the new sports cameras.

Pickleball court construction is almost complete and the new courts will open in spring 2024!

  • 8 pickleball courts
  • Concrete sidewalk/gathering area down the middle
  • 24 new parking spaces

Please note: In response to strong community interest, the project design was updated to include eight dedicated pickleball courts (instead of both tennis and pickleball courts). Converting all Deerpath Park courts to pickleball still leaves 16 tennis courts throughout other City parks, providing plenty of access to those who wish to play tennis.
