Our Mission
There is a small sign on the inside of the sailing office door that reads 'Build Little Champions'. It reminds us that each time we step out to coach the children in our care we are about more
than sailing. Lake Forest Sailing believes the skills required to achieve mastery of a sailing boat extend beyond the tiller. We have an expectation that our sailors be kind, courteous, mindful of teammates, encouraging of others, communicative, organised, physically fit, respectful, tidy, disciplined, humble in victory and resilient in defeat.
It is perhaps these qualities that have contributed to the considerable success of the Lake Forest High School Sailing team in regional and national regattas.
We offer sailing instruction for all ages and skill levels and are nationally recognized and sanctioned as an accredited training centre by US Sailing.
